Microsoft 365 Business Premium includes world-class security tools, and we help you get the most out of your investment. We start by leveraging the following included tools:

  • Entra Conditional Access Policies - control who has access to your data, on which device, and from where. Conditional Access Policies tailored to your business help keep your data safe while making sure people aren't constantly interrupted by unnecessary security prompts.
  • Defender for Microsoft 365 - Scans emails for viruses, ransomware, and other threats in both links and attachments, blocks spam, protects against impersonation & phishing, and more with protection extending to Teams and other Office apps.
  • Microsoft Defender for Endpoint - Next-generation antivirus that detects and protects against modern threats, manages and reduces attack surface, and applies content filtering policies on your Windows and Mac computers.
  • Intune - Manage Windows and Mac computers, iOS and Android mobile devices, deploy apps, and deliver security configurations natively from Microsoft 365.
  • Purview - Identify, protect, and limit the sharing of sensitive information while ensuring business records are created and retained.

  • Cloud Security Posture Management - We perform and deliver regular reports against baselines that are backed by industry leaders such as Microsoft, NIST, and the Center for Internet Security.
  • SIEM/XDR - Monitoring and threat response solutions for SMBs regardless of their needs and budget. From our Essentials tier focused on Microsoft 365, to Standard adding full SIEM and EDR capabilities, and the Advanced tier completing the package with full XDR capabilities that can automatically shut down threats on your endpoints and Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Secure DNS - Configure public DNS records to ensure your email gets delivered and your domain can't be spoofed by imposters. Enhanced reporting proactively identifies mail delivery issues for quick resolution. SPF flattening allows for complex sender frameworks that meet any need.
  • Security/Compliance Training & Attack Simulation - Training is required by most cybersecurity insurance, compliance frameworks, and also strengthens your first and best line of defense, your people. We include training on cybersecurity, HIPAA, PCI DSS, GDPR, OWASP TOP 10, and others. The training modules are short, most less than 60 seconds, and lighthearted, with phishing simulations that lead to teachable moments - not punishments.
  • Data Backup - Microsoft does not back up your data in Microsoft 365. This is your role under the shared responsibility model, and one of the most challenging problems that many organizations face. We provide a cloud-native tool to back up your business data without deploying any infrastructure, so that you can stay focused on running your business and not managing servers or appliances. Data is stored securely in a SOC 2 Type 2 datacenter and able to be restored at a moment's notice.

We believe that our default tools work for most people, and also acknowledge that some clients have specific needs. We can provide and support a variety of SIEM, EDR, and XDR tools to meet these requirements.

Absolutely! We've even listed the tools we use for full transparency. Our value lies in the following key benefits:

What if we use Google Workspace?

We believe that Microsoft 365 Business Premium provides the best value for your investment. If you prefer Google Workspace, we won't pressure you to change your mind, but this package isn't viable because most security tools on the Microsoft platform lack a comparable offering in Google Workspace. This means additional tools will need to be purchased to support functionality across Defender, Intune, and Entra - which carries a higher total cost.
